BRRN at Socialism Conference 2025 in Chicago

The Socialism Conference is a long running annual gathering held in Chicago, Illinois. Drawing upwards of 2,000 participants each year, the conference boasts 160+ panels, breakouts, and activities covering a wide variety of topics. As one might expect, the event is dominated by state socialists of various traditions and libertarian socialists have largely remained absent from the affair. But we’ve aimed to change that.

Last year, Chicago based members of Black Rose / Rosa Negra (BRRN) tabled the conference for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the level of interest received from attendees.

This year, we are excited to say that in addition to tabling, we have organized a panel discussion on the ‘socialist strategy’ track of the conference. As well, whether you are attending Socialism2025 or not, if you’re in Chicago you’re invited to our post-panel happy hour nearby. Find details about everything below!

Fighting Fragmentation: Building Cross-Sectoral Social Movements
